Roopa Bhat, MD, PhD, is a board-certified neurologist who developed an affinity for the Pacific Northwest while doing an Internal Medicine Internship in Providence Portland Medical Center in Portland, OR. She then trained in Neurology at Stanford Hospital and Clinics in Stanford, CA. She completed her residency in Neurology and post-doctoral fellowship in Multiple Sclerosis and Neuroimmunology Research at Stanford.
Eventually, Dr. Bhat returned to the Pacific Northwest in 2013 to practice in Washington. At Bellevue Neurology, her practice is focused on multiple sclerosis, migraine, and all aspects of general neurology.
In her free time, she likes watching Seahawks games, cooking, bicycling in the summer and snow sports in the winter. Her most significant physical achievement was to complete the Seattle to Portland and Seattle to Vancouver, Canada, bicycle rides in 2015. She looks forward to continuing to enjoy the outdoors in the Pacific Northwest.
